This wreath is adorable and so simple. I like how you used common household items to create it, not only “upcycling” your flowers but also your paper and cardboard products. This inspires me to cut some flowers from my yard and make some wreaths with the kids. Maybe we’ll give some to our teachers to thank them for a great school year.

I found this article to be well written and easily understood. Lots of ideas for using and enjoying the flowers we receive for more than just a few days. A really nice feature is that we all have most of the things we need for the craft around the house and it wouldn’t require a trip to the store! Good way to keep the kids busy on those days they can find nothing to do!

Jessie, these ideas are terrific! I am just getting to the point with my boys that we are looking for fun little projects to keep them entertained. These ones, especially the salt dough one is just perfect for us. I also love the rock buddy. My guys are always picking up sticks and rocks and whatever! Maybe if I paint a face on it, they won’t be as tempted to eat it.
