Free Crafts For Kids Contest

Free Crafts for Kids is run by three generations of crafters. Grandma Betty, Mom Terri and Daughter Jamie. I found this site a couple of nights ago and really love how each day you get a new craft idea for your kids. You can search their calendar for previous crafts they have suggested or search my materials you have on hand.

Another cool thing about Free Kids Crafts is each month they give away $200 worth of craft supplies.

Entering is pretty simple. Take your craft supplies, make something original not taken from a book or a blog. Take a photograph of your completed project. Write down how you made it. Send both the photograph and the write up to Free Crafts for Kids and you might be 1 of 4 people who will receive $50 in free craft supplies.

Good Luck.

Now through June 28, children can participate in the “How I Dream in Green” contest for the chance to win one of 10 spots on the Green Team. Crayola will bring the team to its headquarters here to do the honors of ceremonially plugging its new 15-acre solar farm into the sun on August 5. Parents or teachers can submit artwork that illustrates the colorful ways children want to protect the planet either at Crayola’s Facebook fan page or at Crayola.com. [Read more...]
